With snow and temperatures falling, it was the perfect day to search out the spectacular Websters Falls just outside of downtown Hamilton. Parking was $10 for the day, but the 2 1/2 hours I spent wandering around the conservation area was well worth the time. The only strenuous walk was up a slight incline from the parking lot. There is... More

Have visited 14 of the falls in Hamilton/Ancaster/Stoney Creek area....different styles...Cascade/Curtain/Ribbon...Favorites were Great Falls with an awesome side trail from the base along the creek below & Felker's Falls then trail through woods to a spectacular lookout view of Stoney Creek ! 8 weekly day trips from our area in the fall.

Who knew Hamilton had so many waterfalls... We try to see at least one a year... Great day trip to enjoy nature and to literally get lost in it... (but it's easy to find your way out lol)

Follow the Facebook or website for Waterfall Capital & go to an illumination night! Many volunteers traverse the dangerous terrain & slopes to place coloured lights in the perfect places to make a brilliant display! The groups that gather are always polite & speak in hushed tones as we take it all in. Great outdoor family & pet friendly experience!... More

You get to experience the different falls in their splendor in all seasons. Water rushing down in summer and ice climbers in the Winter.

I guess because I visited it in July the water level was low and the water fall was not as impressive as I hope or as I had seen on YouTube.

The waterfalls were, until fairly recently, a hidden gem overlooked by the massive Niagara Falls. They are now appreciated and adored, and a fun (and usually free) way to visit the many areas they are in. Make sure to bring your camera, especially in the winter and autumn as the scenery can be breathtaking!

Hiking time an underwhelming 45 seconds from the carpark. If journey is the biggest part of the fun than this one is not for you. Though the falls themselves are beautiful and full of life, the surroundings are stale, entirely fenced off for someone's protection.
