This park definitely has good season and bad seasons. Not always a great place to be at time of year depending. Still worth visiting at least once ideally during the apple blossom season.

For a city park, Gage Park tops the list as one of the best! It's a perfect place to admire the flowers especially the roses when they're in bloom and some of the huge, old shade trees. The kids area is very nice and so...More

A great place for a stroll or bike. Lots to see and lots of places to sit and relax as well. The roses are beautiful.

I always enjoy walking around Gage park to look at the trees and flowers. Parking is available on nearby streets for a few hours. If I were a kid, I’d be nuts about the playground and splash pad!

Gage Park is a public park and I know of no reason why you can't BBQ. You just need to bring your own BBQ and supplies. There are picnic tables in some areas and free parking off Lawrence Road (by the escarpment).
