In a busy city it is nice to have an oasis to visit. Like Central Park in New York, Hamilton has Gage Park. When I was a little boy my family used to visit the part for the shade and the kids all "swam" in the fountain pools. In the summer there are lots of festivals, ethnic, artsy our cultural.... More

Such a beautiful park with sweeping views of the escarpement. A fantastic setting for the many festivals held each year. Many events from. Midsummer's Dream to yogafest and meditation. Great mum displays and flower arrangements all year long.

This is a great park; lots of landscaping with beautiful gardens. Lots of room for everyone; great as a venue for outdoor events re festivals, etc.

Gage Park used to host more events (like the Festival of Friends) - it is a great park with ample green space. You can spend a few hours enjoying a picnic and a walk through the park.

I have been coming to this park off and on for the past 30 yrs plus. Good to see lots of updates and improvements for the next generation. Congrats to the city.

A while back I visited Gage Park to bring my grandkids to the Children's Museum . After our visit there we decided to give the splash pad a try. It was okay...nothing special but it was good for a hot afternoon. A children's play area is adjacent to it so this provided extra play time . There are several benches,... More

The City has done a great deal to bring this gorgeous park back to its former glory. All summer long, enjoy FREE outdoor concerts at the bandshell, 7-9pm. Then, they show family oriented movies on a giant screen in the same area--FREE! Tons of people are coming now; great to see. Food trucks around for food and treats. Large midway... More

Gage Park is a beautiful place to take the family. There is a lot to see and do here. You can visit two playgrounds, a splashpad, a fountain, a large bandshell, three baseball diamonds, an indoor tennis court, a greenhouse and a well-maintained rose garden.

Although the greenhouse does contain beautiful plants and flowers, we were disappointed to find out that the birds we expected to see have been moved to another location (see Friends of the Aviary - only open to the public on Sundays!). We also had trouble finding the entrance to the greenhouse and did not see anyone who could help us.... More
