After waiting 1 1/2 hours in line (even having purchased our tickets online) We were happy to finally be let inside.... the problem is they were letting in LARGE groups of people together. If it weren’t so crowded it would probably have actually been scary....More

Very neat place to visit, have been to the fort to see the regular changing of the guard, have been during the Christmas show and for the Halloween haunt.. they definitely put on a great time whenever you are there!

We went after the regular summer season, and it was pretty quiet - no troops or demonstrations. I think it would be more interesting in the summer, but was still worth seeing and the guided talk was very worth while.

It was closed when we were there a couple of weeks ago. You now buy your tickets inside the fort itself. I don't know if this closure is permanent.

Yes, you may go back to your car without any issue. We forgot something and it was not a problem at all! They are so very accommodating and kind. Enjoy your visit!
