I visited recently to see A Thousand Splendid Suns (which was fantastic). I totally love the vibe of this theatre. It reminds me of a mini version of the Princess of Wales theatre in Toronto. Great spot, centrally located. Just wish parking options were better,...More

The interesting stage design of this play, and a recommendation from a theatre director in Calgary, encouraged me to purchase tickets for the Chariots of Fire play. What an ingenious design - they had the track running through the audience and also had a couple...More

My first time in the Grand. I was impressed. The play I saw was the 1000 splendid suns. Great staging of a complex novel. The directing was superb and so were most (but not all) of the actresses and actors. The downside? The should not...More

we were very impressed with the production of 'blind date'. what a unique and novel concept whereby each show has its own story, new co-star and unique outcome. cudo's to the leading lady who shows off her new co-star in each performance!

The theater is old but beautifully well maintained. No bad seats. The production of Christmas Carol was amazing with many set changes and special effects. The touring company was very talented. We will come back again.

Came here to see "A Christmas Carol" with my extended family. The theatre is located right down town and there are many good restaurants right nearby within walking distance. It's a decent sized theatre, not too big but not too small either. The show we...More

We went with family to see "A Christmas Carol" and were amazed! I have some professional training in, and a lot of amateur passion for drama, and this production matches a lot of world-class theatre. Stratford would be proud of this one! The sets were...More

This is a lovely theatre refurbished to preserve the historic elements. Sight lines are clear with no bad seats. A professional theatre with excellent production values and reasonable ticket prices. Well worth a visit. And there's even an "under grand" theatre with more challenging shows.

Hi Deb W, There is metered parking on nearby streets and a few lots on nearby streets as well. There is nothing right at the theatre though.
