1. We decided to visit the church and go to the service since it was advertised that there would be a tour over the Canada Day weekend. Not too sure if this tour started a bit later … but didn’t stay for it 2. The...More

The church is stunning and is indeed a beautiful cathedral. Windows and architecture are beautiful. Unhappily, the windows do not seem to open, the cieling fans are few and far between, literally, and were not on when it was 34 degrees Celsius. The service is...More

Very friendly custodian welcomed me into the church even though I was just sight-seeing it. The grand front entrance of the church leads into a delicately ornate interior. The paintings around the alter reminded me of the Art Nouveau era. At softer and gentler, though...More

Walked by the church after a walk in Victoria Park and took a few snapshots. It's a very nice looking church, but St. Peters is the more architecturally brilliant of the two. Can not comment on services as we did not attend (and would not).

This is a fine 19th Century cathedral building, undergoing quite extensive repairs. Stained-glass windows are really worth close examination, some of Tiffany quality and era. Altar is spectacular, very elegant. When restoration work is complete in the next year or two, this shall be a...More
