We were at the Living Arts Centre for a performance of A Christmas Carol by the Orillia Opera House Company. As a local theatre group in a small venue, we had hoped to take in a good show for a nice outing. The Orillia group did an amazing job with strong performances and some impressive singing voices. Staging was particularly... More

We were impressed by the seating in this theatre - we were close to the stage with elevated seating. Acoustics were excellent. We enjoyed the pre-concert talk in the... More

My wife and I attended the Basically Basie Band with the sounds of Frank Sinatra at the RBC Theater and the show was awesome. Except we had upper balcony side seats where you can only see the balcony rail and had to lean over the rail to watch the show. A lady next to our seats could not even watch... More

I attended a first-aid class here and was impressed with the spaciousness and cleanliness of the building. This would be a great venue for events and workshops.

Every year, sometimes twice a year, we attend our niece's dance recital. It never fails that the line ups are very long getting in, yet they have 2-4 entrances to the theater?? The theater to watch the performances are nice, however, during intermission, the front lobby could use some work. They could offer more snack and drink options and if... More

Attended a convention at this location and found it to be well-appointed and spacious. Wonderful buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The LAC unlike any other centre created for and around all the arts. The architecture attracts many movie and tv crews to use as a monument to art. With theatres, resident artist studios and an art gallery dedicated to new and emerging artists. Visitors can find something to please everyone. Community courses inn at least 7 of the studios, children's... More

We saw STOMP there recently and were very impressed with the theater - there was not a bad seat in the place, plus the seats are comfortable. We were also amazed at the different workshops that are available to work in. We found the glass workshop quite fascinating. There is an incredible amount of opportunities for young and old there....
