Took three kids here this week (ages 5, 2 and 1) and had high expectations. Two floors to see, but to me, was somewhat disappointing. Not as many birds to see as I expected. On the positive side, the two little ones could stay in their strollers since they had elevators.

We loved our visit to Bird Kingdom. We were just walking by and trying to consider whether to go in and we're glad we did. We got to see bats eating fruit, skunks and tarantulas, and of course lots of birds. The large aviary is amazing - so many tropical birds flying and walking around. It's like a very interactive... Bird Kingdom is an amazing place to see birds flying, building nests, interacting, etc. They have a large room filled with plants and birds, the birds fly right next to you. We enjoyed watching two finch fighting over a stick that was larger than both of them. The most amazing room is the main room which is at least 2... More

We went on Family Day and it was very busy (1/2 price) but other than waiting to pay/get in, it didn't feel crowded inside. Have other animals besides birds which was nice. Kids got to feed nectar to birds that landed on them to eat. Small café that was reasonable. A museum at the beginning was included.

Visited with pre-teens (11 yr olds) on a weekday afternoon. Not very busy which was great. Held parrots, fed the lorikeet birds nectar for $2 (warning, they may peck at you), saw turtles, snakes, bats and lots of free flying birds in the aviary. Warm setting (free coat check inside). Learned some history, saw beautiful birds and had a great... More

I honestly don't think I have a single bad thing to say about this place. I went with my boyfriend and we had an amazing time. There were many families with children there but it is also wonderful for couples or friends. There were so many types of birds flying all around. There were reptiles and a couple mammals as... A nice place to visit - the best is at the end. Take and extra $2 with you to feed the birds! There's a few tight spaces, but also areas that open up where you can sit and relax.

We were pleasantly surprised at how large Bird Kingdom is. It is very beautiful you would not think the inside looks like it does from the outside. There is opportunity to have a beautiful bird sit on your arm and have a picture taken. Prices for pictures were reasonable. As you go through the Bird Kingdom it just keeps going,... More

What a wonderful way to experience some of the most amazing birds up close and personal. The birds are so used to people that some land right next to you. It's a photographers dream.

Me and my 10 year old son love this place. It does not look like much but it is such a nice place to go especially in our cold winter months. Best to get tickets online...(cheaper)
