They also served ice cream, jams, jellies, gourmet foods, sandwiches, drinks etc. Very busy place. Family owned since the 1930's.Visited August 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 23 August 2024
- Bucko007Sudbury, Canada1,009 contributionsNice marketThe smallest Chapel in the world is located here. The market is nice and full of market-like treats. Came away with some relish, tarts and jelly. We live near corn fields so we found it funny that they were selling corn on the cob for $4 an ear. Yet tourists were snapping them up. - Climber134966213801 contributionBest Grape Pie Ever! The grape pie was AMAZING! We stopped on our way back from Niagara on the Lake and had our own little picnic. I am traveling to Canada in a few weeks (not this area) and want to make sure I have grape pie. Definitely a stop I recommend! Never having had a grape pie (or heard of it), I was skeptical but I can say this was one of the best pies ever!Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 6 September 2024

Been to this place many times and first time bought the butter tarts. Sadly it’s too sweet and not worth the price ( very pricey). They have picnic tables and nice bistro like tables around the market. Enjoyed the moose track ice cream. Lots of good fruits and vegetables.
This is the better market place around Niagara on the lake, it appears they’re quickly fading away.
Overall Niagara pry drive is still a beautiful drive.

My family and I stopped by Walker’s country Market to support small businesses. We got terrible service, rude staff, very pricy. Not worth your time . They really need to be nice to their customers. Why be so rude!!!!!

I love visiting this spot when I'm in NOTL. They have the best selection of local fresh fruit & veggies, as well as all sorts of treats like wine jellies and gourmet popcorn. A definite must-visit!

While visiting my parents in southern Ontario, my mom and I had the opportunity to visit Niagara-on-the-Lake. It is a beautiful part of Ontario and it is quaint, pretty, and quiet; it is a most relaxing way to spend a day or two decompressing from a hectic week. We stopped at Walker's Country Market and were delighted by the vast array of fresh fruits and produce. I succumbed and bought a jar of nectarine jam and a delicious raspberry pie. Upon returning home to Alberta, I opened the nectarine jam. Within 3 days, the family had tuckered in and finished the jar. I promptly ordered several more jars of jam because it is so good! It was dispatched right away and now I am the nectarine jam king of Alberta. The owners, Jim and Donna Walker, along with their daughter Bethany are to be commended for the healthy, inexpensive, and quality food they have at their market. I have conversed with them and they are friendly, helpful, and a delight to talk with. The market is well worth the visit and the array and choices of jams and food is well worth the visit. The raspberry pie and the nectarine jam are not to be missed! As a bonus, their mail order business is run honestly and fairly. A tip of the hat to Walker's Country Market from northern Alberta.

We visited this place two days back and this is a must visit place when on the route to Niagara on the lake from the falls. There are excellent restaurants and eateries in the market but this beats everyone hands down with the simplicity, taste, price and freshness. The corn the juice, the sandwiches, the pies everything is just excellent

T'here are so many items available at this lovely market along the parkway. I have never been disappointed with anything I have purchased here. Great sandwiches and ice cream too. I could go on and on. Highly recommend a stop here on any visit to Niagara on the Lake. I live in the area so happen in here quite often.

We came across this interesting place, when we were touring the region & were ready for something to eat. We looked around inside after I had visited the cute little Church in the grounds. We chose egg sandwiches & decided to share them, as the filling was huge! Along with a coffee we sat outside & all enjoyed our rather tasty lunch at a picnic table in the sun!
If you are in the area, please do not hesitate to stop here & have a good look round. You will not be disappointed & will certainly try some of their tasty fruit etc.

Jimmy jr, Noelle, Bethany, spencer are all sensational. Ask for their help and they can't do enough for you. All the fruit is hand picked daily by the staff and cannot be matched for sweetness & freshness anywhere in Ontario. The drive from Toronto is worth it just for the taste of fresh sweet corn served on the weekend. I heartily recommend walkers to everyone.

My family and I were staying in Niagara-on-the-lake for the weekend and we decided to stop at all the farms along the Niagara Parkway. This one really stood out. They had a large selection of homemade ice cream, fresh baked pies and VERY friendly staff that made us feel like family. Lots of fruit to choose from and very tasty pastries. If I ever come back to Niagara, I am definitely coming back to Walker's County Market!
