These lighthouses are very pretty in a picturesque area on the river. It was a calm and relaxing spot to rest a while and enjoy the views.

This is a regulating station and is not visible from the road, but it is from the water. Unique shaped lighthouse that I have painted a few times. It's on the grounds of an art center and free parking is available.

Hard to imagine that, back in the day, these lighthouses were the main navigational aids for the Niagara River. Take your time and walk the property and enjoy the area.

Two beautiful old lighthouses marked the entrance to the Niagara River from Lake Ontario. No longer needed in the age of GPS they are a wonderful reminder of the naval history of the area.

A nice walk along the water front, lots of birds, geese, ducks, bofflehead,swans, wear running shoes. A pleasant walk.

It was fun to try take a picture of the Niagara River Range Lighthouses. We went to the gate and saw it in the distance. Not the best picture. We decided to walk near the hedge, but it was difficult to see anything. We eventually...More

The lighthouse is behind a marina gate, so access was restricted. However, there was a nice overlook on the lake just to the left of the marina where we spent some time relaxing.

Wife and I are lighthouse "nuts" so we had to check these two range lights off our list and glad we did. The views over the river are outstanding and the town is so cute.
