We went to see the production of Cinderella and it was fabulous, more than I expected, as it was funny, the costumes, dresses were so beautiful and elaborate. They had a 10-15 minute intermission, and overall a fantastic evening. Only disappointment was the NAC is under construction, so we had to walk around the building and access it from Laurier... I visited the NAC on two occasions. We can easily have a good view of the stage in the Southam Hall. The sound quality is excellent. The lighting is difficult to photograph in. Lovely place for a concert or show.

I just attended two concerts in the newly renovated Southam Hall. There really are no bad seats in this place -- you can see and hear well from just about any part of the hall. Parking is a bit of a zoo upon exit, but is fairly orderly. Don't show up too early because there really isn't much in the... More

I went to view the cirque symphonique in June. It was the last show of the season and I'm so glad I scored a ticket! Stunning performance, amazing music- well done!

NAC exterior currently undergoing major construction to reposition entrance on Elgin Street. It was originally set on the canal side & access was always jammed up. Looking forward to it being finished & fully functional.

I can't count the number of shows that we've seen here; Nutcracker Ballet, concerts (Colin James, Matt Andersen, George Thorogood) and musicals/plays (Sound of Music, Wicked and more). Great venue!

This place reminded me of an old opera house. Had great seats in the Orchestra section. Audio was FABULOUS! Concert lasted nearly 2.5 hours. Location is right downtown within walking distance(5 minutes) to 3-4 major hotels. Construction made entry and exit difficult but I would ABSOLUTELY return.

Please note that the National Art Centre is under massive renovation at this time involving the complete renovation and new construction. Work is to be completed by May 2017 for Canada's 150th Anniversary. There are still perfomances but on a smaller scale. When purchasing ticket ask where is the temporary entrance to the building since the usual entrance is now... More

Saw the touring production of the "Sound of Music" recently. The NAC is a great performance hall, for theater, music, or concerts; there are no bad seats. Parking is pricey and could be better managed to the advantage of its patrons. (cheaper parking is available at city hall across the street, after hour rates are much better there). The place...
