We spend an afternoon there appreciating the artworks of Canadians. Only a few minutes walk from Parliament Hill, this is a place where everyone should visit whether you like art or not.

Walking distance from main hotels in downtown. Easy to navigate and see the main paintings in one he or more. Big spot for kids to play with art blocks and parents have a cafe.

Wanted to see the Canadian gallery, including my favorite art pieces. Well laid out with the paintings and complemented by artifacts and clothing adjacent to the works, a better historical context. The exhibition works backwards in time from contemporary to earlier periods. It was a...More

The lunch in the Great Hall has been fantastic. A salad of spicy tofu and edamame beans was delicious. There was not a hint of dullness in the dishes around me. Fantastic service, wines from Ontario, inter alia, and the most amazing view of Parliament....More

If you're a fan of architecture and artworks this is the place to be. I really enjoyed the photograph section as well as the indigenous artworks. The section of the gallery as well that had the nicer rooms were where these artworks are located.
