We say the Northern Lights performance in July, in the rain, but it was well worth getting wet for. The Parliament buildings are brought to life at night in color and lights. The story of Canada is projected on the buildings and is narrated. It is a definite must see in the summer months. The buildings however are quite beautiful... More

Really great way to spend a day, I went through the Parliament buildings and it was really interesting, also it is a great place to be on Canada Day. The fireworks display is amazing!

the Parliament does not disappoint. My most recent trip to Ottawa was with my wife and we went walking over to Parliament Hill, even though it was a cold, drizzly late November evening. Too late for a tour but walking on the Hill with a surprising number of others makes one realize what a great country we have. From past... More

For starters, the visit of Parliament is free of charges. They offer a tour guide who explains about architecture and a bit about the Canadian political system. Attending a "Question Period" session can be easily done and is highly recommended!

We didn't even go inside but it was more than we were expecting. We had a great time admiring the architecture from the outside. There are plenty of outdoor statues to appeal to everybody. I would definitely go back, but I would buy my tickets in advance to go inside.

Doing an east coast tour and thought we should do parliament. Security very strict and missed our start time and had to catch up but worth the time, went up peace tower as not too many tourists. If in Ottawa make the time to do this free tour.

As an American living in Canada, I feel it is important to learn about my adopted country. This is a must stop for all. The tour is so informative and the Parliament building is lovely!

I have been here several times and am always in awe of the history and the stories that brought this great country together. This is a wonderful learning experience for children, adults and persons of other countries who visit to learn of the Canadian culture and parliamentary ways of governing.
