It is a small Square at the end of Elgin St. It is the second most important ceremonial centre in Ottawa. It is the place where you can see the guard changing and some importatn dignitaries when visiting Ottawa

Beautiful park in a great area, on Elgin St. Park can be quite busy in the summer time, but there's lots of space, seating and shade! There are lots of coffee shops nearby and restaurants down the street.

We stayed across the street from here and Pokémon Go was just released the week before so there were hordes of people on and off going through the park! My kids caught quite a few here. Outside of that, the park has a few statues and a nice fountain in the middle along with some benches and nicely landscaped -... More

Just happened upon this little park. Quiet, nice place to relax, see the water fountain/statues/monuments in the park, etc.

There is both Starbucks and Tim Horton's near Confederation Park. We grabbed Tim Horton's for breakfast and ate at the park. It's a quieter park than others with great views. Some interesting sculpture and nice sitting areas. Clean and quiet.

Nice area for sitting, relaxing, people watching. Seems to be an area people walk through to get to other locations.

Watching the various artists starting to prepare for the opening of the Winterval event in the adjacent park was fascinating.

The Confederation Square has a great view of the Rideau Canal and has bronze plaques for each of the Provinces and Territories. Very nice on a sunny day, but the wind can be strong especially in the winter.

Walking by, it's worth the stop, but it's just that...whilst walking by. It's a little park with cool things in it to sit and read, chat, walk whatever. Do it, you won't regret it.
