Grand and beautiful. The symbol of Canada's hardwork to maintain peace and harmony to the rest of the world. It is not hard to notice as it is the tallest structure (by law) in Ottawa.

Not to be missed as part of the Parliament tour you should see the sights from the tower. A great view of the city from up high. A short elevator ride at the end of the Parliament tour caps off just a wonderful tour.

Once you've had a chance to take the tour and see the rest of parliament, take the time to ride the elevator to the top of the tower. The views are amazing. The opportunity for city photos are also excellent.

Fabulous views from the tower; bring your camera and enjoy seeing the city from this vantage point. You can see the bells from the elevator on the way up!

Alas this was not open today but we did go inside the parliament building and see that there are lots of stairs to climb to get to the top. The peace tower is the big tower in the middle of the parliamentary building and imposes...More

Despite our timed tickets we queued for over an hour in the rain just to get inside the building. The problem comes in that they don't have enough security machines and both tourists and parliament staff / workers have to go through the same scanners....More

We waited in line for way too long and then decided to leave as it wasn't moving at all! Get tickets to one of the other buildings (they are free too)

If you are lucky enough to get up to the Peace Tower, do so. Stunning views of Parliament and area. Quite a beautiful quick visit, well worth it

This was a horrible experience. Hours of waiting in lines for tickets, then a small elevator created an unbearable wait. We gave up after more than an hour. I'm not sure seeing a panorama of the city from small windows would be worth it. However,...More

Es muy interesante ver el aspecto multicultural que hay en Canadá. Vimos un representante del parlamento de origen indio y el enorme respeto de los parlamentarios al tratar temas en que discrepaban. Admirable.
