Preston is lined with interesting restaurants. A nice walk if you are near Dows Lake. Make you feel like you are in another city.

Unlike Chinatown, this is worth the visit. Preston Street has a ton of restaurants that are top notch. Very close to Dow's lake, ideal spot to go for food after going to the canal or the tulip's festival. Note parking can be a pain.

Experience Italy - this street, located in Ottawa's Little Italy district, features restaurants and stores with an Italian flavour. An exciting place to visit - friendly, well designed for both casual and more formal dining encompassing some of Ottawa's best restaurants.

Preston Street aka Little Italy is great. There are numerous good/great restaurants. We highly recommend Il Primo and Biscotti (coffee, desserts sandwiches) and recently Roberto's Pizza. Lots of on street parking (free Sunday). You can easily walk to Dow's Lake. Access from 417 westbound via...More
