The charming atmosphere in John M. Hall's takes me back to a store from yesteryear. The store is in an old building with the old wooden floors that squeak as you walk down the aisles. Your purchases are given to you in a crisp paper bag that adds a little specialness to your purchase. Everything in the store from the... More

John M Hall is a store in Paris that has the 'old fashioned' look inside. Beautiful old wood floors that creek as you walk ( love that sound) this reminds me of many Paris stores I would go into as a child with my Father. All of the merchandise is very lovely. I get my bedding here and bath towels... More

Housed in an old Victorian era building, a visit is like walking back in time... From the minute you enter the original wooden front door with its old fixtures still intact, you know you're in for a treat. Inside is a wide variety of high quality linen items- towels, sheets, fabrics and the like. Friendly, helpful staff provide personalized service.... More

A wonderful shop with a wide variety of linens and sewing materials, towels and blankets. This store is an old time store - old wooden shelves, and displays. Worth the visit just to see the store and experience the atmosphere! A great selection of items as well.

I live in Paris but I still stop in every few weeks to just browse around. This is a really charming little shop that makes you think you just stepped into a dry goods store from Little House on the Prairies. They carry primarily linens and fabrics, with some country-comfie night ware and baby clothes, a few scatter rugs, and... More

This store was the highlight of our trip to Paris, Ontario. Lots of interesting items specializing in towels, dish towels, fabrics, and much more of this genre. We bought a unique welcome mat that featured three cats. While it was like stepping back to the 1950s in a way, the store also was modern with mostly contemporary items.

An old-fashioned haberdashery store I love to visit. It is just about impossible to walk out without buying something. It does not have to be expensive, but I promise you it will be valued.

I just love coming into this store! I have bought countless table cloths, towels, dish towels, nighties, etc. over the years. Used to be a favourite of my grandmother's too. Even though my daughter thought I was crazy - I even found a "hankie" here a few weeks ago and carry it in my purse. What a sweet little treasure!... More
