Great free place for an afternoon out with family and friends. It does get busy on those nice hot days in the summer. There is a kids water park and picnic area. It is by the river and is attached to biking/walking trails.

The zoo is a nice place to be on a summer day. A good variety of animals, a nice layout, decent size. And best of all, free!! Well done Peterborough, more cities should take the initiative to implement places such as this.

What a great place to take a walk. You get to see many varieties of animals and also some research on them. Very clean also. Great place to bring your kids to play in the park or also have a picnic.
