For a FREE local Zoo it is a great place to take the kids many times. Not crowed and the animals are always doing something different each time. Excellent play area for the kids. We really enjoy going, even it is just for an hour.

Have been going to this zoo for over 37 years and it continues to be one of my favourite outings in Peterborough The mixture of children’s activities, the well cared for animals, coupled with the riverside location make this zoo one of the best local...More

Free admission and Free Parking. Fee for Train Ride - optional. Can take a lunch and also play in the water park. I don't know of any other city that offers a free zoo. Great for all ages.

Our kids love the zoo! They'd go all the time if they could. Between the playgrounds, giant slide, boulders to clime, animals (otters and camels are favourites), splash pad, and waterside park, it's a pretty unbeatable place to take kids of all ages.

Spent about 4 hours and its hard to argue with ad admission cost of $0.00 There's a train ride for $2 per person, our 4 and a half year old loved it. Its not the most exotic zoo, but there are reindeer, yaks, small little...More

It’s free and has parks, splash pad, animals, train ride, picnic areas, and a plane. If you’re not expecting anything mind blowing then it is amazing! A glorified walk

The park is well kept with lots of paved walkways meandering through. The zoo exhibits are accessible from the walkways. The place is a zoo! (Just had to add that 😁).

This place has no admission fee. We went on a train ride $2 per person. There were not much animals. It was quite nice to see the cherry blossom, peacock, crane and few animals.
