This is a nice place that puts on summer camps for kids and has school programs and the like. My kids have been there for summer day camps that were fun to do once, but no one wanted to go back. It's kind of limited, to be honest. It's very outdoorsy, good knowledgable staff, has some interesting displays and some... More

This is a must see for all visitors to Peterborough. It is truly awesome. Our guide, Jessica, made us feel extremely welcomed. She was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. There are all sorts of taxidemy animals native to Canada. There is an aquarium and a huge range of fibre glass models of record breaking fish that have been caught in... More

This isn't a huge museum, plan to spend about an hour, and if you're lucky, you'll be there at feeding time for the large tank of native fish. There's a little bit of angling, a little bit of hunting, and a little bit of heritage. The price is right! $5 suggested donation per person. Lots to be learned about invasive... More

This is a must if you are a wildlife enthusiast or educational trip for your kids. They have a really great (and different than the norm) b day package for kids that involves fishing, air gun target shooting, and archery target shooting as well as a movie theatre.

I have been to the Centre many times and always enjoy it with my grandchildren. The exhibits are well put together and some are interactive with sounds of the animals. Lots of information for the animals is available too. The movie theater shows incredible films on nature! The collection of fishing articles is impressive. The children's play area is fun.... More

Rates above excellent 10 stars. Part museum, part lecture, part video, part Ontario wildlife education, part archery range, part pellet gun range, part supervised live fishing. If you visit only one place in Peterboro this is it..
