When our boys were quite young they used to love going "hiking" as a family. It was like going on a little adventure every time we got into the car, often after supper, to make our way to one of Sault Ste. Marie's wooded trails....More

The city has done a great job at keeping the nature feel vs city surroundings. Great views from the comfort of the smoothly paved walkways and bridges. Great for a short afternoon bike trip or dog walk.

Fantasic trail to take a short walk in the city but feels like you are in the contry. Short about 3 km's if you stay in the Fort Creek area. Watch for the dog leftovers in the winter and spring.

Nice nature trails in great condition. Took family for walk was most enjoyable. Easy accessible for walking bikes and wheel chairs.

I generally make it a point to visit when I'm in the Sault. Great to escape from the hustle and bustle - even for a little while!

If you're looking for a great place to walk, this it. Well maintained and dog friendly, as long as they are on a leash. Lots of parking as well.
