The Lakeside beach is currently open. There is still some debris on the side of the park and pier is still closed but beach area is nice. Go Enjoy

Unfortunately heavy rainfall through most of April and May al9ng with lots of rain this summer has literally washed away what isvusuallt a beautiful sandy beach

We were looking for things to do and found that the beach was near by. The area is under construction and the water was very high. Once it is done it looks like it's going to be nice. I guess next time...

There used to be a large gazebo with hibachis to use...but they just removed it last year so now its just a beach with volleyball nets and some park benches
