For a decade now, Lula Lounge distinguished itself as Toronto’s home for groundbreaking Latin, Jazz and World Music. Our audience reflects our programming - The crowd at Lula is one of the most diverse, friendly, and multi-generational and multi-ethnic crowds in the city, what ties them together is love of music, having a good time, drinking, dinning and dancing!Friday and Saturday night Lula presents the city's top Salsa bands, Djs and Dance Instructors. The friendly beginner's lesson is great way to break the ice, no partner necessary. For a great night out the $49 package is recommend, it includes a 3 course dinner.Sunday's from 11-2 there's a Family Cuban Brunch with Lice Cuban music, a brunch Buffet and Dance Class. Sunday through Thursday evening you can experience anything from Chamber Music to Blues, Spoken Word to Tuvan Throat Singers, South Asian to Goth, check out ww.lula.ca for the schedule!

If it's your birthday they sing and call your name. On entry you are seated by the waitstaff. The brunch was buffet style and then dancing lessons were given while Cuban musicians played. Simply delightful.

Not even worth a 1 star rating. Service is crappie. Waited 4hrs for a table and then was told the kitchen closes as midnight not sure if we would be able to order a meal. That was the only reason we wanted a table. The...More

A wonderful atmosphere with kind staff. The music was like being on a beach in the Caribbean. There was a live band and DJ between sets. The ratio of men to women was off. (About 9 women to 1 man and mostly couples. This has...More

We hit Lula's on a Friday night. Make a reservation - so you'll get a place to sit all night (they're on Open Table). The food was okay. The menu is fixe prix - and while limited was certainly worthwhile, just don't expect fine dining....More

Visited as a couple. Happen to see a great Cuban band. Music was great! Location is a bit far away from downtown Toronto. Front restaurant room could use a bit of an upgrade, but the dance floor reminded us of the night lounges in Cuba.

I had already been to Lula Lounge twice prior to this recent visit, but for their Sunday brunch/salsa lesson. Those events were very enjoyable, family-friendly events, but looking around I did notice the venue hinted at spicier times. Indeed the website lists a full slate...More
