We ate lunch in the revolving restaurant, the food was decent and the views were stunning. The general viewing deck, is a bit tired, but going out into the open air area was a great experience. I loved the glass floor, but the husband was less enthusiastic.

Obviously very touristy but views were stunning, you can see for miles. We also stopped for a cocktail and took away the CN Tower cocktail glass for memories!

Had a wonderful meal. Many items to choose from if you are having the 3 course meal. Portions are small but absolutely delicious and perfect for having multiple courses. The view is spectacular and I love that the restaurant spins so you have a different view all of the time!! Very romantic for a date. Highly recommended. It was about... More

If you're not afraid of heights you should try leaning over the edge with a harness, looked fun but not for me! The view over the city and the water , especially at dusk is wonderful. A must do if you're in Toronto

Of course you have to go up the CN Tower when in Toronto. No question. Just do it. Take the elevator and get the view. You won't regret it'

I would say if you have a few days, get a City Pass. We parked across the street in a parking lot for $15. Nice area to walk. Ripley's is next door. We got there around 8:30. I would recommend going at sunset and view the city in light and darkness. Beautiful views. Not too bad of a wait. Prepare... More

Every tourist that comes to Toronto wants to see the CN Tower then go to Niagara Falls. It has a breathtaking view of the city and also has a glass floor at the top if you are brave enough to stand on it!

The CN tower is famous in canada for being the tallest, most beautifully engineered building around. We had a great joy on our trip to the top and took away the biggest impression from the glass floor. Although this is a fun sight to see in the grand city of toronto, if you have a fear of heights it may... More

Right next door to the aquarium, our first stop, and not nearly as crowded. Fast ride to the top, where the view is exhilarating.

It is pricy to view the lake or the city. It is still a marvel of our time. Had to do it once, since it is in my country. But ounce is enough.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
