This place is architecturally speaking very interesting but - sadly- it has been closed for years. We went there to see the sculptures and installations within the Winter Lights Festival and there were very good ones. First steps to make the place great again?. I...More

Pros 1. Great Light Exhibit 2. Great enjoyment for kids 3. Food and Beverage Kiosks 4. 1st year run, would definitely visit again, Cons 1. Limited run 2. At the mercy of the elements, close to Lake, winds can be a factor if not dressed...More

Light installation exhibit is free and there are not too many people as everyone is going for Aurora festival. Just passed the entrance to Cinesphere. There is a skaterink, firepit, cafe and beavertales stand. We had an awesome evening and great time!

Went to the aurora winter lights festival friday night about 7 pm. Sooo not worth it, everything was crowded and lines were insane - from getting into to parking lot (30+ mins), to then lining up for the mystical places light show (25 mins), rides...More

We made the mistake of going to a movie on a Friday night @ The Cinesphere, Onario Place. We got stuck in a traffic jam on the way. When we got there the parking lot was almost full. Then there was a long trek in...More

I walked the whole place in 15 minutes and then wondered where the 'rest' of the attraction was. There wasn't anything else. Total yawnfest. But if you like lots of lights on plastic trees then this is your wonderland! The 'shops' (actually shacks) are crap...really...More

The free light show was a major disappointment. Even on a relatively balmy holiday evening very few people were there and with good reason. Dark and impossible to read the plaques in front of the rather dull exhibits. Tiny skating rink had a half- dozen...More

Save your hard earned money and your time. Paid $100 between admission and parking and everything inside is additional fee. Boring. Lights...yay. For that price dazzle me with a show.

Good clean well kept environment with helpful staff (while on training). Kids enjoyed the two times we went there with a warm area perent can sit en enjoy a coffee and snacks. Loads of paid parking just a short walk from the skating rink.

We were there in the evening for the Peter Frampton concert and walked right past where the water park used to be. I will have to go during the day. I could swear it was there but I was disappointed to read that you're right.
