My parents and family are buried here but to be honest it is more than just a cemetery. It is well worth going just to see the flowers, trees and history that is in an oasis in the city. There are lots of joggers, walkers...More

While I do have family here I still find this an amazing place to visit and explore. There is a lot of Canadian history here and over the last 140 years it has developed into a world class collection of trees, shrubs and flowers. What...More

Okay, the idea of taking exercise in a cemetery freaked me out but this place is huge and is a great place for running, only traffic is generally slow moving. Some of the tombstones are amazing and it's a place alive with stories. Not in...More

Not a must see but makes a nice walk looking for famous Canadians. We found Knowlton Nash, Timothy Eaton and Eddie Greenspan. The mausoleum has the tomb of the most decorated soldier from WW1. Trees are often labelled for nature lovers. Beautiful spot.

The roadway meanders through the cemetery and is often used as hiking and running trails by people in the surrounding neighbourhood. Access points are off Yonge Street on...More

The cemetery is quite peaceful and what caught my attention where the histories raleted to it, worth to hear about it and see.

from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of
the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools,
