I was impressed by the number of high ratings for this tour. Perhaps the differences are due to differing tour guides or variations in the weather. However, my tour left much to be desired. I booked on expedia and was excited about the full day tour with cruise. The day began promisingly enough with a pickup at our hotel where... More

Pick up at the hotel, sit back relax and be told all about Toronto and other places that you pass along the way. Very interesting and informative. Friendly guide, optional buffet lunch with free time to do what you would like. Journey behind the Falls is a must. Canadian side offers better views. After a long day of exploring you... More

First it was billed and paid as a winery and Niagara Falls tour. They switched the winery for a stinky (like old feet) brewery where they gave you 3 shot glasses of beer. No explanation of what happened to my winery tour. The tour guide herself was not nice and most of what she said the rest of the group... More

Day started off at Grayline bus bay in Toronto and a drive out to Niagara Falls. Our tour guide (lady on Thu 8 Sep) was really energetic about Canada and the falls. Also cracked up some top jokes which helped the tour. There were pockets of periods where we were on our own just touring that I felt probably wasn't... More

If in Toronto, you MUST give this day trip to The Falls some consideration. They picked us up and dropped us off at our Toronto hotel (so convenient). Our tour guide, Dave, was the best. He annotated several interesting sites on our way to The Falls. We enjoyed a fun wine tasting on the way and had the opportunity to... More

Perfect day, with a hotel pickup and drop off. The pick up at our downtown Toronto hotel was at a reasonable time (0945), the coach/bus was comfortable, had free wifi (very fast) and a friendly tour guide. Stopped at a winery to sample the famous Ice Wine (quite delicious but very expensive for what it is), went on to spend... More

This was our first ever visit to Toronto and Niagara Falls. When picking a tour operator for a trip from Toronto to Niagara, there are so many choices. We chose Gray Line based on favorable tripadvisor reviews. Gray Line was awesome. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at our hotel at the end of the... More

Had a great time and took terrific photos at Niagara Falls. It was a rainy day but we got beautiful rainbow photos. In getting off the bus in the evening at our Toronto hotel, it was hard to gather all the souvenirs and jackets. I left my nice rain jacket on the bus and since we left Toronto the next... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
