EdgeWalk is the "World's Highest External Walk on a Building" (Guinness World Record), a full circle hands-free walk on a 5 ft (1.5 m) wide ledge encircling the top of the Tower's main pod. Visitors walk in groups of six, while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system. Trained EdgeWalk guides encourage participants to push their personal limits, allowing them to lean back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them. Designed with the highest international safety and security standards in mind, EdgeWalk runs 1.5 hours, with the outdoor walk lasting approximately 30 minutes. Tickets include a keepsake video, photos and certificate of achievement. Participants also receive a CN Tower re-admission General Admission ticket + SkyPod (includes access to LookOut, Glass Floor/outdoor SkyTerrace, SkyPod Levels). EdgeWalk operates seasonally from spring to late fall, 7 days a week, and hours of operation fluctuate depending on daylight.

A fantastic view of Toronto from an exciting position. A shot of vodka after the walk was necessary for me to unwind. Will certainly do it again.

This was an amazing experience. I took visitors from Finland who were in Toronto at the time and they were also in awe. Safety is the number one priority. The view and exhilarating feeling are unsurpassed. A must do when in Toronto

This is a great thing to do. Fantastic views. Knowledgable guide. If the guide had been more lenient and taken more photos as requested I would have rated 5 instead of 4. Worth doing though, once in a life time experience.

Amazing views. Amazing staff and crew. Safety wise, there's nothing to worry about, you're checked about 5 times before going out. Great knowledge from the guides too. Weather was perfect too. Yes it is pricey. But for me it was worth it. Yes it can...More

Try to go on a good weather day. If it clouds over then it makes the experience much less enjoyable.

Yes you can wear your own shoes as long as they have laces. We also have shoes available onsite if you need them. Enjoy your walk!
Do they let you wear your own hat on the Edge Walk? On the review pics I see some people wearing hats but they all seem to be the same red hat that matches the Edge Walk jumpsuits. I'm asking because I wanted to know if they'll make me remove my Rasta hat if I want to do the Edge Walk. It's a knitted hat that fits tightly on my head and covers my dreadlocks. I'll leave it at the hotel if it isn't permitted.

We do recommend that you leave the hat at the hotel as it would not be permitted on EdgeWalk. If your dreadlocks are long we suggest that you use an elastic to tie them up so they don't get caught or blow around in the... More
