The food was good and the people working on the train were kind but that is all that was acceptable.
The train was 6 hours delayed leaving Vancouver. By the time we reached our destination of Toronto we were 22 hours behind schedule. The train...More
The trip would have rated a higher review except for the numerous delays due to our train having to pull over to side tracks to let the freight trains go through. The result of having to do this resulted in our being 9 and a...More
We just took the train from Quebec City to Ottawa and thoroughly enjoyed it. We decided to make the trip with just one day's notice. We walked from our hotel to the train station to buy tickets for the next day. We bought 2 economy...More

We travelled from Vancouver to Toronto in July. First couple of days after leaving Vancouver we felt a bit chilly during the day as the air con was set fairly high but it got warmer once we were further into the journey. We never felt cold at night. Beds were made up with a nice duvet and were comfy. My advice would be to take layers of clothing. It's all pretty casual dress.
