Had fun Walking around. Found a great bar with tennis in TV. Final game of Rogers Cup. We really enjoyed it. Don’t expect to eat good food. Not much to offer. Had fun eating cannoli. Then went to Chinatown for dinner. We saw a wonderful...More

We stayed in Little Italy thinking it would harken back to our trip to Italy. There are Italian restaurants here but not worth the trip if you are staying closer to downtown Montreal. The neighborhood has so rougher areas.

Took two subway trains to get to little Italy to have some good Italian food. Guess what, don’t bother...we ended up by mistake at a Venezuela Italian restaurant and it was not very good. We hardly saw an Italian restaurant in the area. There were...More

Visited the area in the afternoon, on the recommendation of the Concierge of the Hotel where we were staying. Interesting to stroll around the area and check out some of the original historic buildings and housing. Dined at Lucca, reviewed separately. Got a taxi cab...More

As a Montrealer, I'm still unsure why we have "Little Italy" as a neighborhood. Most of the touristy action there happens on St-Laurent Blvd. and by "action", I'm being generous. There are a few decent italian restaurants, but other than that, it's business as usual...More

Lively area with lots of ...obviously..Italian restaurants and excellent cafes. Next to market, close to LeRitz (indie music bar), and Mile End neighbourhood. Good beer at Birra and Vice Versa on St. Laurent. Lots of cute cafes in adjacent street (Beaubien).

We caught a cab to Little Italy and wondered why we had done so! A very ordinary area, yes it had Italian places to eat but so had downtown. It was very uninteresting place. Having said that the market certainly was good if you were...More

We stay just one block from Jean Talon Market. There was an incredible display of fresh vegetables and fruits! There are also variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Although this seems to be to anywhere you go in Montreal!

We visited on a very pleasant evening. The weather allowed for all the outside seating and decking to be used by the patrons of the many Italian restaurants. Valet parking was available and seemed a good idea, as parking was a nightmare. Will return for...More
