St Patrick's has a beautiful and unusual interior. You can actually smell how old it is. The high alter is entirely monochromatic in carved wood; oak perhaps and has a lovely old hanging lamp overhead. Saints cover the side windows. It's worthwhile to attend Mass...More

Lovely architure and a lovely show. The building has character and warmth. Howver, I am not in favour of paying an admission to visit a religious place - not that I find it wrong I just don't like doing so. I would rather give a...More

Free to enter. This church is similar to Norte Dame in that it its exterior is minimalistic, yet the inside is stunning and well worth your time to visit and take in the breathtaking atmosphere. Very intricate woodwork, beautiful altar, two story balcony, and decent...More

This church is well worth at least an hour of your time. The beauty of the architecture and the paintings and side chapels will take your breath away. Visiting during the week can offer a quiet time for reflection and prayer.

Loved taking in this church. Just check to see when they are open, and try the side doors instead of the main entrance.

With the recent passing of my Irish colleague, I felt visiting St Patrick’s whilst in Montreal was the right thing to do. Another magnificent piece of architecture, glowing candles and just the place to simply sit and reflect and remember those you miss.

Beautiful choir and pipe organ! Mass was in English so that was helpful. Interior had a simpler beauty than Notre-Dame Basilica. Stunning as well!

Wonderful church and certainly worth the time to visit. Handy to transport, but try to visit when then is no service on if you want to really explore it.

In the Holiday season, there is usually a great concert of the Masiah with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. Be ware, you might get a sore neck by looking at the artworks in the ceiling.
