Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Edward statue is a nice prearranged meeting place to meet back at a certain time. The small park is in a large shopping area and is a nice green space to enjoy. Take your time while partners shopping and take in the attmosphere of Montreal.

Phillips Square is located in downtown Montreal and is a good photo stop for any tourist. Visited in the evening when there was no rush. Certainly recommended.

Phillips Square is a large square located next to the rue Ste. Catherine. It is a big square with a huge statue of KIng Edward VII in its center. Its shady with its trees and there are benches to rest on. Many vendors also sell goods on the sides of the square. The square is in a great location with Christ Church Cathedral and Le Baie, a mall similar to Macy's, right across the street from it.

The Square is pleasant, especially in good weather, but not worth a special trip unless you're in the neighbourhood.

Centrally located in Montreal' s downtown, Sq Phillipe is adjacent to a wonderful hotel Square Phillipe Hotel and Suites, the department store The Bay and convenient to the Metro. The open space has numerous trees, a corner street vendor selling food, drinks, souvenirs and a statue to Edward VII, son of Queen Victoria and King of England from1901-1910

This is the 2nd time we've stayed at Le Square Hotel and Suites, love it. Friendly staff, on site garage parking, free breakfast, rooftop deck, swimming pool, gym and coin operated laundry. Best of all, full modern kitchen, clean bAthroom, spacious bedroom. Can't beat the location too, it's in the midst of fun hopping restaurants, walking distance to culture and art events! Montreal has something going on for the entire family, and a lot of them are free. Can't wait to visit again.
