Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am not going to comment regarding the Team that occupies the building most of the time because that would be unfair.
1) Good sightlines
2) VERY expensive food
3) Main washroom all the way down the stairs
4) Biggest gripe - the best thing about the old Forum was the promenade that went around the ground level in the building. That was the best experience you could have right at ice level. Of course it took away too many seats but what a joy it was as a kid to walk around and see from the ice level perspective.
And in the playoffs (which the Habs participated in virtually every year) management would put up nice banners all around the Forum.
Miss the old venue and where it was located. Miss the old team.

Whether you're a hockey fan or not, the intensity of this sport and the atmosphere of the spectators are sure to appeal to you. Finding your seat is not so simple through the countless stands, and the locals quickly shout at you (passionate people eh 🤪). Tickets are not cheap, and can be found on resale platforms, but I recommend without hesitation, especially here, the hockey temple where you will see the Montreal Cavaliers team.

I recently took a tour of the Bell Centre. You buy the ticket online and then meet at the Souvenir shop. The tout is approximately one hour and it takes in the nightlights of The arena. You get to see the press box, premium seating area, Canadiens Alumni lounge and finally the Canadiens locker room. The guide was well versed in the Bell Centre lore as well as the team itself.

Although I'm not a hockey fan, I really enjoyed the tour in this building. Our guide (an archeology teacher by profession) was absolutely amazing. His narration about everything related to the building of the Bell Centre and the hockey club was interesting, funny, sometimes truly fascinating. I was not bored at all when he told us about how much it costs to buy a VIP seat, how the arena can be converted into a stage for a concert, what hockey players have written in the dressing room and why, how hockey was played before and what it is like today...
A very interesting and at the same time funny piece of information for me was why the hockey game used to be played in two halves and now it is thirds. This is because there are two breaks during the match instead of one and the visitors spend more money on refreshments. Well, it's all about the money. :-)
We were in the arena itself, in the places for reporters, in the locker room of the hockey players and in the press center.

All modern NHL arenas are more similar than different nowadays. The Bell Centre does provide good seating with unobstructed views of the ice, food/drink options (expensive, of course). Designed to get people in and out as quickly and efficiently as possible (same goes for the bathrooms!)

Too much time to lose to find a stationnemebt plus see a losing team and manager Martin St Louis who allows himself to smile even in defeat!
Those who pay season tickets are mentally retarded and Molson doesn’t give a shit about it all he wants is the shit as cheaply as possible! The Stanley Cup with soon 36 Montreal teams in 2088 should conquer one or the law of the average!
Happy season Montreal fish gang you are like splashing in the water!
You used to have the Quebec Nordics and it created dualism , a lifeless and visionless team for fans and their clientele who pay their dabbles who are your clients with players who do not have the Quebec flame as in the good old days!
Good thinking

Attended Marc Antony's concern there. First, Bell Centre is the absolute representation of the greed. Any snacks are _criminally_ expensive. A can of beer is more expensive than a box of 12 cans at the store. There should be a limit...Next, the floor is probably never mopped so you risk losing your shoes because it is dirty and sticky. And, finally, when it comes to the sound...sorry, but quantity is not a replacement for the quality. It is impossible to see the voice, they blast the music and there is real risk or ear damage.

We recently attended a pre-season hockey game at the Centre Bell when we were touring Montreal. The venue is very impressive, and it is a great place to take in some hockey. I had pleasant interactions with the staff--when I first walked into the building looking confused a pleasant staffer told me how to find my section. The only negative was the price of the concessions. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend going to a hockey game if you are in town during the season.

Do not go this venue if you have issues with walking or stairs!! We spent $2k+ for front row seats with dinner at MyThik resto and there was NO WAY to get to the resto - after going through THREE checkpoints - without walking down 3 flights of stairs. I saw at least 20 other people struggling to get up and down those stairs! Asked 5 different employees about getting to the resto and only one was able to confirm that there really was no ramp or elevator or escalator.

The show is great, the costumes extraordinary and the skaters really quality.
On the other hand, $50 for two bags of popcorn put in a small bag with a Disney character on it is not only exaggerated but even embarrassing. It's terrible to make parents pay $50 for two bags of pop, with children who of course want them. It’s more expensive than a ticket to the show….
Let's see popcorn, it's really cheap, it's used by parents to the detriment of children in my opinion and it's not exactly being fooled.
But the show was great!!!

Wondering what the temperature is like in the arena during a concert?
Written 21 September 2023
Hi I am going to see Andre Rieu and wanted to know what is the appropriate dress code for this venue. is it open air arena?
Thank you
Written 13 September 2023
Hi, this is an enclosed arena, usually used for hockey games so you wont be exposed to the elements.
As for dress code, you wont be cold inside ( depending when the concert is) so wear whatever you like!

Are fans allowed to watch warmups against the glass if they have seats in another area of the arena? I heard that they don't allow fans to do that at the Bell Centre, which is weird because it's allowed everywhere else with no more Covid restrictions.

Merci

Does the venue allow patrons to camp outside of the venue for any number of days before an event?

Does the Bell Centre have WiFi? I don't want to add an International plan to my phone, but would like to be able to be in touch during the week we are at World Skating.

I was gifted tickets to April 2 Elton John concert, sitting in section 210. However, I have a mobility issue and use an electric scooter. I looked through the Bell Center's site, but couldn't find any information on accessibility. Any suggestions on which would be the best entrance door and whether my scooter will be acceptable? Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Written 26 December 2019
I would suggest the entrance next to the ticket office at the bottom of Rue Drummond opposite the Provigo Supermarket.
There are several entrance doors here with staff in attendance.
