We rented a 6-seat quadricycle at the Old Port location. While the equipment itself is fine, there are several issues we encountered: 1) The space is quite limited as to where you can pedal to. It's limited to the pedestrian port boundaries, which means it's only 10 minutes from one end to the other end at a very gentle pace.... More

We went on a Segway tour of the Old Port as part of a bachelorette party and had an absolute blast!! Our guide (I think her name was Valerie) was such a gem. She was knowledgable of the history of the area, but kept it light and fun considering the occasion. She also gave us some suggestions on where to... More

Took a fun and informative tour of Old Montreal harbor / docks with Joubin. He was an outstanding, knowledgeable and fun guide, equally at ease with Montreal's history as he was with more contemporary events and areas of interest. Great way to learn about the city's colorful and impressive heritage, legacy, evolution and bright future. Unrushed. Got a refresher on... More

Although we had a very nice guide, Jeremy, who filled us in on some of its history, this tour of the old town was extremely limited, I believe by the law, to the area of the port between the river and the railroad, which no one mentioned to us until well into the tour. I had hoped to explore much... More

My wife and I had a great Segway tour of old Montreal. Our guide, Adriana, was very knowledgeable and stopped at the most interesting places and provided excellent descriptions. I highly recommend this activity as it's pretty easy and lots of fun.

A friend and I rented a four wheel bicycle. When we got on the bike we realized there we no gears and the bike could only go very slow. Not to mention, we could only use it on the pier path and couldn't take it on the streets. After about ten minutes we went back to return it. Having paid... More

Staff was great and they suggested we rent Segways to do a tour of Old Montreal. We had a lot of fun and this is definitely a great activity to add to your visit.

After a good lunch we decided to visit the waterfront in a relax fashion. We rented a four wheel bicycle and casually rode the length of the waterfront. It was a bit pricy ($21) but for two really not that expensive for a relax people watching site seeing ride. Also, if you have not already tried a Segway, this is... More

My wife and I signed up for a Segway tour of Parc Jean-Drapeau. Shortly after starting the tour, my wife made it clear that she was not enjoying using the Segway at all. Our tour guide immediately suggested she switch over to using an eBike for the tour. She swapped out for the eBike and we were then all happy... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighbourhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
