We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The original main hall has been restored and holds the original brass arrivals / departures board, and an original wartime commemorative statue. There are historical photos and description of the station's history and use. There is little else remaining to see, but the interior and exterior architecture are beautiful.
Enter from the corner of Saint-Antoine O and Peel to walk up the grand staircase (there is an elevator as well). On a winter, Sunday afternoon, it was very quiet.

Windsor Station is a grand old building which is Heritage listed. It used to be a major railway station but that is no longer the case. Now it houses cafes, restaurants and offices. It also has an entrance to a metro station. Worth a look for its lovely architecture.

I wasn't born in Montreal and the first time I came here, my grandmother brought me by train to see the Santa Claus Parade on Ste-Catherine Street. Our train arrived at Windsor Station and, as a 6-year old, it was the biggest building I had ever seen! Well, it's obviously NOT the biggest building I have now ever seen but it is truly a beautiful building. Trains don't arrive at Windsor Station anymore and it is mostly an office building but thankfully, they have kept the station as it was and there are beautiful pictures of it's heyday. All soldiers left Montreal by train from Windsor Station during WWII, many great visitors arrived at Windsor Station. It's a beautiful place to see, will not take all day to visit and gives an excellent synopsis of it's history.

This is a beautiful old stone building which has been re-purposed. It is no longer an active station but now it houses a food court and some restaurants.

Walk through and appreciate the architecture.

The area around it has some very interesting statues of hockey greats.

If you're in the neighbourhood, worth dropping in to see how it is now, comparing to the old photos! The concourse remains but sadly the old track beds are long gone!

...so what is there to do and why am I writing?
Well, for starters, it is incredibly beautiful architecture and the main concourse (when not booked for events) is beautiful. There's now an outdoor reflecting pool and soon the hockey statues and engraved bricks should be returned (it's part of the ongoing construction chaos around the station). There is an old arrivals/departures board with some historical photos. If you go into the basement, in the passage to the Bell Centre, there are some Montreal Canadians mementos (old chairs from the Forum, a mock player's dressing room and locker) that are free to look at.

Beautiful areas to visit. An Old Time Train Station. Many memorabilias, sites, and scenes to view. Stroll through and you'll be pleasantly impressed with the architecture, stamina, and Poise of this Great landmark.

Great venue for a large reception. Food served was good but they lacked decent selection of beer only Sleeman and X. Which is ashame given the great space and the outdoor patio. The food catering was good but the staff really did not care much.

This beauriful building , quite reminiscent of the glorious days of the Canadian Pacific , is quite a sight on the outside but unfortunatly there is nothing inside except for a few restaurants a some offices .
Have a look around it , take pictures but do not loose any time going inside ; you will be disappointed !

I was disappointed that this venerable train station with imposing exterior has little to offer on the inside. No waiting or ticket hall, no tracks, no trains. Just a few B/W pictures.
