We had a great time going to the opening night of La Boheme. It's a lovely opera house, and the tickets were reasonable, especially coming from London. The performance was very good, the programmes were free, and generally I recommend visiting.

We very much liked the performance of Aida. The sets were especially dramatic yet clean. the performances were excellent. The venue is well organized with easy parking and many places close by to "pre-game" (as it were) or to have a post event cocktail ....More

Have been going to Opera de Montreal for many years and enjoyed most of their performances. Mostly they tend to do the standard operas but also venture into less traditional areas. Well worth going to a performance if in town.

This moderns style opera building lies in the cultural district of Montreal. Although it is large, acoustics are excellent and the comfort of the seats is beyond compare. Opera performed there are rather classical as far as I can tell.

I attended a performance of Bharati, a group of Indian Dancers(Bollywood). The music that set the evening were a traditional group of musicians, very good. However it was the dancers and the very beautiful and coloful costumes that made the show. If you ever get...More
