Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Coming to this store is an experience similar to hunting or looking for treasure. It's incredible to peruse through rows of clothing looking for what catches your eye.

This place is decorated in an intentionally haphazard way adding to a chaotically pleasant time.

They also used to have live music and live painting events (Pre-Covid) which was incredible as a way to meet artists and possibly find someone to commission and art piece from, as well as just be a quirky, lovely way to spend a Saturday.

Toxic vibes. ★☆☆ ☆☆
Don't waste your time going there post-covid... It use to be a great place for costumes and pride festival, but now it changed. Very unrespectful and unpleasant service from the staff. I won't be selling my garbage there anymore. I rather spent my generosity with a real charity, not to money scammers.

It's only a chaotic place excellent for tourists.

Just 10+ minute walk from my hotel and with recommendations from Trip Advisor so I go and see for myself. A really nice and interesting shop worth visiting! Huge varieties, very well organized, lots of good stuff, plus a cosy coffee area. Very nice and welcoming staff with free popcorn... enjoy it very much! :))))))

As my husband and I were perusing Old Montreal, he casually asked a store attendant if she knew of any nearby thrift shops. She recommended Eva B's. I could not believe it when we arrived. First of all from the outside it looks like a closed down bar with graffiti and such. An upper floor window has a mannequin hanging out of it and very lightly you can make out Eva B. My husband tried a door sure it would not open and we entered this amazing place.

Eva B's is more than just a thrift shop... its a delightful experience!

It is three floors of vintage, trendy, and unique treasures for sale at very decent prices. On top of that there is also a vegan cafe that serves kombucha and great food! I had the veggie dumplings (yum) and my husband had soup and a sandwich. I also found myself a new coat that was similar to the one i had on but fit way better and had a huge hood that I could wear even with a bun in my hair! I told the lady that I would leave my coat there as I did not want to travel home with an extra coat. Upon a quick consultation with another woman, they decided to offer me $2 our purchase for the coat. That is the only reason I gave the store only 4 stars. I think $5-10 would have been a much fairer offer.

I will definitely make a point of visiting this store every time I visit Montreal and I will highly recommend everyone else do so too!

When you enter Eva B, you will probably be offered a small free sample of lemonade, as this is a cafe/thrift store. There were interesting things to look at everywhere - books, old canned goods, potatoes, hangers on the ceiling! I spent $28 - for that amount I bought 7 skirts, 2 cookies, and 2 beverages! The skirts were buy 2 for $4 each (or one for $5). There were interesting styles and fabrics. The racks were crammed full, but you need to expect that with the thrill of the hunt. We relaxed out back on the terrace when the shopping was done with large homemade cookies and canned Thai tea.

This is my favorite store in Montreal, hands down. I come here at least once a week. There are so many good things about this place. 1) It's in a good location- St. Laurent. 2) The vibes are so unique and incredible. Everything from the variety of music to the super friendly staff-amazing. 3) They sell everything you can think off. You can shop here if you are just out and about, or if you are looking for something particular. Eva B is likely to have it. 4) The setup. This store has many stories and is very well and randomly decorated, which is what completes the store. 5) Finally, the prices. Not only are you getting great clothes and other things, you are going to get great deals. This store also includes a cafe and several seating areas. I recommend Eva B to everyone shopping in Montreal!

Great place to visit with my teenagers. Tons to look at and great finds for decent prices. Warmly greeted, free cider and delicious popcorn. We were there when they were doing sugar on snow on the porch out back.

We missed this shop the first time we walked by, but no wonder this place is an institution. The selection is massive, the service is friendly, the prices are phenomenal, and you can have a snack and a drink if you're running out of steam.

It's not for everyone; you have to love thrift stores, old things, dust and look for a long time in a big mess. It's a really huge place, just visiting the store is an adventure in itself. The employees are very nice and we will offer you tea most of the time.

This is one of my favourite places in Montreal. It's a second hand store, but also has a cafe attached which serves cheap, and terrific food and coffee. Definitely worth a visit!
