After a long walk from the Old City, this museum offered a peaceful respite from the heat and bother of the August day. The temporary exhibit featuring Japanese influences was well done and offered quite a variety of styles within one exhibit. Kept you thinking....More

The architecture and views were more appealing than the art inside. It is a typical art museum but there were some tremendous pieces by famous artists on display.More

Wonderful exhibit at MNBAQ through September 27. Lent by Boston MFA - some excellent juxtapositions of perspective and themes. Worthwhile departure from the mobbed tourist sites in the Old City. Catch the Inuit sculptures also.More

I know the area very well. There is a large parking lot adjacent to the Museum, on its East side. It is not free, but rates are reasonable. There is also plenty of metered parking along the street, just West of the Museum... More

Hello, the MNBAQ is open all year 'round, that is true. Our visiting hours in October are Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday) from 10 am to 5 pm. We are open on Wednesday nights until 9pm (and it's half-price!) Adults $ 18... More
