About
One of Québec’s best-kept secrets and one of the most spectacular view of the Old Town. Located at the heart of Old Québec City, the ride (one-way) takes about 12 minutes. During summertime, discover the marked bike paths located on both sides of the shore: Corridor du Littoral (Quebec City) and Parcours des Anses (Lévis). In winter, the mouvement of the ice on the St. Lawrence River is truly impressing.

    Winter: ferry and ice-breaker
In the winter, the Quebec City ferry acts as an ice-breaker as well, clearing the way for other ships to go down the St Lawrence river and preventing the river from freezing solid. It is quite the experience to be outside and hear the ice crunch below you as the ferry makes its way across to Levis . The ride is is very quick but the views as spectacular during the day or night.

Fun trip on the ferry to Levi
We took the ferry across the St. Lawrence river and back. Fun to be on the river and to see Quebec City at night. We went at dusk so wasn't completely dark. Evidently schools do this for a fun trip because there were lots of students on there doing the same thing. Inexpensive way to get on the river.

A fun trip to the other side
A fun way to see Quebec city from the water. It’s a 12 minute ride to the other side but unfortunately not much to offer unless you have transportation in Levis. There’s a beautiful home of one of the founders turns into a museum that is a must visit.

Short Ferry Ride over to Levis
First time taking the ferry over to Levis. Short ride over. Never been on a ferry before where the cars drive on from the side of the ferry and you do a 180 on the ferry to your designated parking spot. Make sure you stop on the other side to get a view of Quebec City from the other side.

    Ferry to Levis
Easy to take a vehicle or walk on. Buy a ticket at the entry drive or walk on and travel. Tickets are reasonably priced. Well organised and stay in your car if you wish. Great view of Quebec from the shoreline as you dock.

    Very enjoyable.
If you have the time, a great thing to do, the huge boat was very quiet ,so loads of space to move around, lots of history/information inside ,with an area for snacks. Easy to buy tickets and you have to disembark once you reach Levi. Spectacular views when onboard. Highly recommended. There are opportunities to explore Levi on foot/ bus ,walk along the promenade.

    We Love a Ferry
We love being on the water so couldn’t resist the short ferry across the river to Levis. Very efficient all round and strangely quiet on a sunny Sunday morning. Sat out on the deck for both crossings. Not a great deal new to see apart from the Quebec skyline and that lovely hotel …

Gave me my chance to be on the St. Lawrence. The price was reasonable. The one way trip is about 15 min, 15 min for boarding.

We stayed in Levis and used the ferry to travel into Quebec. It was great not having to figure out where to park our car. Great service

We had a great experience taking the ferry over to Levis. Based on what I had read our original thought was that we would take the ferry for the views, spend a brief period hanging around at the dock, and then make the return trip.

We ended up grabbing a delicious snack at the cafe just across the street, and then, after talking to one of the local bus drivers, taking the 11A bus for $2 per person for an hour round trip around. It was fantastic. We saw so much of the area. We could of gotten off and visited local churches, shopped at a mall, or spent some time at a park with great views of the St. Lawrence. All in all a great tour for less $20.00 total for the 2 of us.

There does seem to be more happening arond the dock area now with a giant ferris wheel I had not read about.
