Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This promenade stretches from Pierre-Laporte bridge to Côte de Sillery. It is a large park on the bank of the St. Lawrence river that offers spectacular views and several photo opportunities. Would certainly very highly recommend visiting the same to any traveler in Quebec City.

We walked through this park after enjoying lunch at Ceil. The tulips were blooming and it is a lovely park and background for taking pictures and enjoying the scenery.

I can see why the locals are proud of this new promenade. However, it is not for tourists. Perhaps when it is completed, it may be good for tourists but DEFINITELY not yet. If it hadn't been for our hotel helping with a taxi, we would have been stranded at the end as could not get Uber or a taxi on our own.

My wife and I walked the section between the Pierre Laporte bridge to the Plains of Abraham. It is an easy walk with excellent views of the St. Lawrence River, numerous docks and marinas.

I bike from home to work most of summer time: it is a 13,5 Km ride all along St-Laurence River. This bike path was constructed 10 years ago to give back the River to Citizens: for the first time, taxes well spent!

This is the highlight of Quebec City. Spectacular views, photo opportunities, the cruise ships and other boats on the waterway and beautiful Fall scenery all in one place.

Lots of people but nice to have the terrace now open after extensive repairs. Lovely to walk up the stairs and stroll along the river.

Wide boardwalk overlooking the river, next to the Chateau. Continue up the stairs for an additional, long walk around the Citadel. Beautiful views.
