Visitors to downtown Whitehorse can park and ride the beautifully restored, bright, yellow 1925 Waterfront Trolley. The trolley departs northbound from Rotary Peace Park, across from the S.S. Klondike, and southbound from Spook Creek Station. Passengers are welcome to disembark and re-board along the route at the various stations. This interpretive ride describes the Whitehorse waterfront’s fascinating history including the stories about the W.P. & Y.R. line and the mighty stern-wheelers that plied the Yukon River.

We were really looking forward to enjoy the trolley after reading so much about it. We tried going a total of 3 days. Each day it was closed. Totally disapointedé

it was nice riding back and forth on it, but as per a transportation item - does not seem to have a timetable. The employees in costumes were a fun contribution

This is an enjoyable ride back and forth. You can drop off and pick it up again on its next run, but make sure you have the schedule.

Nice little jumper... but would be nice if it moved a hair faster...lol. There needs to be more history on board about it and more talked about over the speaker. Great that this has been restored and is used... always good to see and be able to ride back in time. Cheers

We took the trolley ride --low price!!!. However, we were expecting a bit of a tour guide approach were someone would talk about the history of the trolley and of Whitehorse. This would have made the ride more interesting. However, nice for a family activity.

We paid the $5 round trip hop on hop off fee and away we went. It's a restored trolley that makes a circuit along the waterfront. Along the way the Conductor provides a narrative of points of interest. There are several stops and at each stop the conductor provides information regarding, things to see, do or places to eat in... This attraction is not the best for train lovers. It is a very nice trolley but it goes really slow. It has several stops along the way. The stops are not the problem, but it stops and sits there for no apparent reasons. The seats are designed for very tiny people. Note however that it only costs $5 for a... More

The young drivers were very informative, and made the little rail and river front trip up and down very interesting. Definitely make use of the All Day ticket, as you can get on and off at the various stops. It's about 1/2 hour each way, so lots of time to see or do things at each stop.
