Came from Australia. Really enjoyed the trip. A must for dog lovers. Pick up was efficient, kitted out with really warm gear which you 100pc need. We would have liked some more explanation on how the dogs were trained... However it was awesome and a highlight of our trip to Whitehorse.

All I can say is I had the time of my life and can't wait to go back! I did the Lodge Based Rookie Ranch. The lodge is very cozy and clean, beds are comfortable. It's so nice to come in after a cold day outside to the warm fireplace. Food is excellent and there is plenty of it. Manuela... More

I did the Rookie Ranch tour, and it was such a huge amount of fun. It's so much more than just the sledding, over the days on trail you get to bond with your dog team and with the people looking after you as well. It was cold (it got down to -38c at times), but Muktuk give you the... More

Muktuk Afventutes is an authentic dog-sled ranch just outside of Whitehorse, Yukon. Manuela and the staff are very welcoming and friendly and professional, and provide a special experience for everyone that comes to the ranch. The country is beautiful and the lodge and cabins are fantastic. You can have a day trip or stay over. There are over 150 special... More

My 2 sisters and I (total of three people) stayed at the main Herschel lodge from June 1-4, 2016 this summer. Being dog lovers, we thought this place was such a unique stay, and read many great reviews about Muktuk. From the start, we were warmly greeted by Jeff and Manuela. The lodge is very homey, our rooms were quite... More

My wife and I took the Rookie Musher course several Januaries ago. You stay in Frank Turners off the grid home. The facilities are comfortable and adequate. The meals were great. Mr. Turner is a lot of fun and being a winner of the Yukon Quest dog sled race multiple times he has a lot of really interesting stories to... More

We were picked up from our hotel on time and driven to Muktuk Adventures where we were given instructions. Hubby drove the dog sled and halfway we swapped. It was a lot of fun. The dogs are very friendly and get sooo excited to run. It was an awesome experience and will do it again given the chance.

Muktuk Adventures was by far the highlight of our Canadian trip. The hospitality that was shown to us was beyond words, and of course the 138 new furry friends we made were all super friendly and so beautiful. Would recommend to anyone as it is a trip of a lifetime. We will definitely be returning to Muktuk Adventures. Lots of... More

My husband and I did the full day dogsledding tour with Jeff as our guide! It was fantastic. It was a quieter day, so we each got our own sled and team of doggies. What a treat! It was just a gorgeous, winter wonderland experience. Something I never thought I could check off my bucket list. Lunch was delicious and... More

My boyfriend and I did the full day dog sledding trip and it was by far one of the best experiences we have had. The whole place is ran very well, the owners are clearly very caring for the dogs. They are well looked after, and they even use rescue dogs instead of just breeding more and more dogs. They... More
