I took my 10 year old daughter for a couple of hours fresh air. Arrived at 11 am, display was at 12 noon fortunately, as we just about managed to fill 40 minutes with things to look at other than the display. Display was just under an hour long, and good fun. My daughter and I enjoyed watching the birds... More

How this place is still allowed to be open is beyond belief. The setting and surrounding are fabulous but Eagle Heights is (for us) honestly, depressing. The staff were lovely and kind to the birds and wild animals but the creatures themselves were in cages that seemed far too small and the bigger birds could not even attain flight. The... More

Dear Kate S, It is clear from your review (& my memory of the day of your visit) that you did not take the time to enquire or learn about Eagle Heights, our animals or why we are here. Firstly, I would like to direct your attention to our website, particularly, a report that was conducted by our veterinarian into... More

Met with friends during school holiday's arrived at 11 and stayed until it closed at 4 watched both bird displays an amazing experience having a bird of prey swooping over your head, brilliant staff very knowledgeable and answered all the kids questions. Rained for 3pm display so they brought the display indoors which was great and the kids loved having... More

A great Sunday afternoon out. We went when it was cold so wear warm clothing and if it has been wet take something to put on the wooden bench before you sit down! It was well worth attending the talk inside (for which you make a small contribution.) I ended up holding the American Bald Eagle which was an amazing... More

I spent the afternoon flying eagles with one of the experience afternoons. Really enjoyed it - loads of fun flying these incredible birds, and the handler was brilliant at explaining what to do, and was very knowledgeable about the birds. We learnt a huge amount about them, and had a lot of fun in the process. Definitely worth doing!

Visited on Saturday 4th February. Superb value day out. Three adults and two kids. We have had a great day. Arrived 30 mins before the 12 o clock flying display and we were all transfixed by the birds and the excellent presentation from the handler. The show lasted nearly an hour and we then had chance for put picnic lunch... More

Hi Skaro1 Thank you for your lovely review. We do work hard to keep the appearance up to a decent standard but as you saw, this can be hard in the depths of winter. I can not recommended eagle heights enough. It is educational, enjoyble and watching the birds fly is amazing. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and really nice. Just go for a visit, or have an experience you will never forget by actually flying the birds yourself. The huskies are kept how huskies are meant to live and to hear them howl... More
