We visited the World Garden about 9 years ago, but it was still a work in progress and many plants were suffering after a very hot and dry summer. However, we went again yesterday as a small group visit. The garden is now quite stunning,...More

So first thing to note is that Lullingstone Castle is not a castle it'a house.A rather grand house with artwork and ornate furmiture, but very definitely a house. We went on a guided tour of the house. The tour was overcrowded as it had about 60-70 people on...More

First - make sure you are in the right place. Meeting friends, I started at the Villa but we were meeting at the Castle! My first visit and what a delight. 'David Douglas' aka Tom was doing a very interesting tour of the World Garden...More

The Open Day included various animals displayed by a Kent rescue charity. The man encircled by a python is Tom Hart Dyke (he did escape).

This is such a beautiful, idyllic place to visit. The world garden is truly stunning with quirky sculptures as well as diverse plants. The lake and surrounding woodlands and countryside are also lovely for walks.

Looking for somewhere local and a bit different and came across this house that fancied a better title.Very basic car parking area, toilet facilities and a refreshment service from a tent. Luckily the setting of the lake and gardens raised the experience. Tour was crowded...More

I first visited the World Garden when it was still very much in embryo form so was delighted to see how it has developed and matured over time to be the beautiful, well laid-out oasis it now is. With trees and plants clearly labelled with...More
