Brilliant Day
Aug 2018 • Family
We visited with our 2 kids aged 7 and 9 years old at the end of August (staying at I Pini campsite in Fiano Romano), and had an amazing day out. The kids absolutely loved it, and were even begging us go back a few days later (alas time didn't allow). We didn't try the adult course as we stayed with the kids, but they looked great too.
Our kids were initially put off by the kids course being referred to as the 'baby' area, but they couldn't have been more wrong. There are 6 'courses' in this area (baby 1 -4, baby marine and baby ninja). They found the 1st 3 challenging but enjoyable, however baby 4 was pretty difficult even at their age/height. They loved ninja and marine most. We did each of the courses at least twice (bar baby 4!), and they didn't tire of them. It's so well set up in the forest, thus it's lovely and cool/shady, which is a welcome relief on a mid-August day. Also, lots of picnic tables etc, so more than suitable for bringing your own food. Staff members were also really friendly, and Luigi who spoke English was really helpful. Overall, a great day out, and if we return to the area, we will definitely go back. Note that you need some form of ID, so bring one passport/driving license.

Amazing ropes course

This park has something for everyone and we have taken 4 year olds to 40-something’s and they all loved it! The courses are graded like ski runs from easy blues to the Tarzan route which is the most extreme (and is only for the Super-fit and very strong). The staff are always friendly and helpful and one or two speak English. We go back every time we are in the area and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Fantastic visit. Staff very helpful. Was with 6,11 and 13 year old. The youngest didn’t need a helper except on the ground so don’t pay but all adults and children loved it. Really great day out. Staff spoke enough english to help x

Ninjas of the jungle

We brought the children (7 & 12) here last weekend to escape the extreme heat. After a safety introduction (in Italian) the older one had to watch a movie in Italian and then had hands on training how to clip and unclip safety carabiner clip and zip line harness. When they felt she understood they showed her where to start her adventure in the trees. 7 yr old, also had hands on training, but was able to start his courses quicker. They had the younger children permanently attached to the lines via their harnesses, really clever. The courses hot more difficult as they did more, 12 yr old was thrilled and even did the hardest course they had, younger one found it too difficult by the fourth course, his legs would not have reached the ropes etc by the next one anyway. The little cafe has refreshments, you can bring a picnic or bring something to BBQ.
After the kids were happily worn out we went down the hill and went swimming at the river and waterfalls. An excellent day out, and wonderfully cool in the forest after the 40+ deg of Rome.
The guides were of the up most professionals, I watched the one giving the induction race off to rescue someone who had a bad turn and bring him down from half way up a tree. Very professional and well run.

Great family adventure. From easy to pretty exhausting. And bang for the buck!

Great afternoon out

My kids 6 and 13 always enjoy the tree adventures. Pretty cheap for 3 hours worth of fun. Quite hard t find and no one speaks any english so the safety tutorial was a learning experience. Great day out though.
