Overlooking the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, Heavenly is one of the most unique snowsports destinations on the planet. With more terrain variety, more hidden glades, more rippin’ groomers than any Lake Tahoe resort, you've got plenty of decisions to make.

Can not wait to come back!! It is beautiful. As a beginner skier, I felt this is a great place to learn. We also snow tubed and it was great. We are already planning our trip back next year. This place is truly heavenly.

Tahoe has had an excessive amount of snowfall this season. With all of that snow, most of the mountain is fair game. Not all trails are groomed and open but there were tracks between the trees and everyone was spread out making the holiday weekend crowd completely tolerable. The conditions were perfect. Perfect powder, an abundant amount of runs for... More

Heavenly is one of the biggest and best in Lake Tahoe. The runs are nice and lots of variety. The views are breathtaking. Check the weather to determine your layers of clothing, expect long lines on weekends, a lift ticket will cost you $135 at the resort (you can find deals on line), pack a lunch to avoid $15 hamburger... What an awesome experience learning to snowboard. The Ski and Ride school rocked! Well worth it getting lessons for two days. Equipment rental and lift tickets made the lessons virtually free. Why not indulge in the instruction. Kept us safe and learned mountain etiquette! I just wish more riders and skiers practiced mountain etiquette! Would prevent a lot of unnecessary... More

My first skiing experience and cant quite describe it, that much fun it was! A few skiing courses to choose from based on your level of experience. Took the easy one and had the time of my life! Skiing, ticked off my bucket list!

This is probably the most beautiful place to ski when the clouds break and the sun comes out you see the gorgeous azure lake below surrounded by snow-capped mountains. The views are stunning. Lots of great terrain. It's not so easy to get from one side of the mountain to the other. And if the gondola is closed you have... More

Technically, today was my second time skiing. However, my first time wasI 48 years ago! I bought boots, clothes and rented skis, poles and signed up for a lesson. Eddie from Liverpool was my instructor. We were very lucky because there were only 3 of us in the class and so we got a lot of personal instruction. Eddie made... More

The views of Lake Tahoe are stunning and the gondola ride is perfect for taking great photos. We had a great time on our visit, the only thing that was disappointing was the icy conditions on the slopes. That's just Mother Nature for you:) Maybe next time we can ski some pow pow!!!!

We stayed in Heavenly Village for our ski trip hoping to use the gondola to access the mountain. Big mistake. The gondola was only running 1 of the 6 days we had to ski. Bus transportation to the other lifts was crowded with very long lines. Lifts in the middle of the mountain were closed so you had to pick... More

Vail Resorts needs to up its game here too. The views at the top are spectacular but other components of the resort need a lot of work. We decided to NOT get an Epic Pass this year because of how Heavenly, Vail, Park City, and Breckenridge are managed (as well as our local area, Afton Alps). To be fair, the... More
