We had a great time on our Summit Tour with Lake Tahoe Adventures. We arrived, checked-in and then waited for a bus to take us to the site. Everyone had to wear a mask it was required when we were all in close proximity of each other. The staff was very nice, helpful and organized. Once to the site, we were assigned to a guide. Our guide was great and continued to check on the group as we made our way through the trails. We had a few stops on the way to take photos and enjoy the sites. He took us on a lot of great trails even a new one. Since it was our first ride, it was little scary at times but still fun. the snowmobile did have warmers on the handles in the front and back which was great. It was very cold so dress warm. Would definitely recommend this tour.…

My girlfriend and I took the 2 hour summit tour. We had a blast!! Definitely worth the money. They take you on a bunch of different trails and we stopped multiple times for photos. It was 45 degrees that day and we wore ski pants and ski jackets over our clothes and were comfortable and warm. Don’t forget to tip your guide! …

Our guide Mike made sure everyone was safe and having fun. I started out as the most nervous rider but by 1/4 way through I was enjoying the windy gusts of snow and turns the most. The views were spectacular! We even saw a beautiful rainbow! The guide had said he would send me the photos of it but didn’t - so that’s why I took off the star. We will definitely be back to try the ultimate snow ski package in March.…

We got picked up at the hotel and taken to an office where we did our check in and had the option to rent gear. Not needed if you’re dressed warm enough, check in was a little slow but staff was friendly. We were then taken in a bigger bus to the location where the tour started. The tour was about 2 hours, very nice views and the area had just gotten snow the week before. Overall we truly enjoyed it and would recommend it. This is a good tour for families that are looking for something fun to do. …

Came to Tahoe to celebrate my bach weekend with 15 other guys, this is pretty much a perfect afternoon activity if you're not hitting the slopes. Just the right amount of thrill and exhilaration without being in any serious danger (assuming you're not riding like a complete dunce). A few reasons why not 5 star - we were originally on the Zephyr Cove tour which is on the lake and has more scenic views than Hope Valley - there wasn't enough snow on those trails so we were moved to the more back-country Lake Tahoe/Hope Valley tour. Fine and not their fault but we were promised we'd still reach elevations of 10-12k feet but actually we barely hit 9k feet. Also we ended up taking lots of normal roads (closed and covered in snow) throughout the afternoon not the real "back-country" I was expecting. Finally, and through no fault of our guide's I'm sure, we were expected not to go over 40 mph, ever. The single ride machines have speedometers that go up to 120 mph, and obviously that wasn't going to happen but especially since we were going on normal roads I was expecting to be able to let it rip a little more. Takeaway: Despite the grievances I'd definitely consider this tour again - maybe double check the snow forecast the month leading up to your desired weekend because I'm sure the Zephyr Cove tour has better views. Also, pro-tip they section you off into groups of 8 even with a large group so if you want a private tour without paying for it make sure you're in a multiple of 8 ;)…
