River re-routed
Feb 2020
Just off the beaten path is Skarfos bridge and has been repaired and renovated, along with the river flowing under which has been re-routed and well worth visiting; one of the watermills can be seen in the distance and also well worth a visit; you can walk over the field and get close up to it and then drive round and park and walk along the top to get a fantastic view from there. There is another watermill nearby which you can get to walking through the field; sadly overgrown and can't be seen easily.

Historic small bridge
May 2017 • Couples
If you are passing close by,it's worth taking a few minutes to see this bridge for historic reasons. The bridge itself can be crossed but the watercourse has changed since construction and the small river now has cut off the bridge exit. It's hard to imagine why the bridge was considered necessary here at all. There appear to be much more conducive crossing points nearby. I guess the topography has changed in the last 500 years as well as the watercourse. If visiting the Skarfos watermill is also very close by.

Fantastic piece of history
Jun 2016 • Friends
Just off a dirt track this fantastic piece of history is in a great setting, disappointed I couldn't visit earlier in the year to see it in the beauty of Spring but none the less still a worth while trip, especially if you are a fan of history and culture.

Having been on holiday there and looking for places of interest to visit this bridge was marked on the map .

If interested in the history then this is worth taking a look at . Built some time between the late 1400 and mid 1500s by the Venetians who ruled at that time . It was originally the main route from Paphos to Polis crossing over the Stavros tis Psokas river but over time the river has changed its course and now flows , albeit a small burn , to the north of the bridge . Nearby is the remains of the old Skarfos watermill also worth a visit .
