The view was nice, I wouldn't say spectacular, the bar is open as and when the owner arrives, which unfortunately when we visited at 10.30am, he hasn't, so, even though one of the reasons for going was to sample the ice cream, we didn't get that opportunity, it took about 10minutes to see all that was on offer, worth a stop if your passing otherwise I'd give it a miss.

We'd had this place recommended to us as somewhere to get a good ice cream to take away. However the ice cream was tasteless sugar water and not worth eating. When we told the owner, he asked what we wanted him to do with the ice cream as he couldn't sell it on! We left him the uneaten ice cream and went away 6 euros worse off. Save your money!

just beautiful

one day we just drove from Los Realejos along the northern coast through numerous small towns, el PRis, el Sauzal, Taroronte, Chamorga and numerous others. Wel worth it, beautiful, scenic, plenty of places to stop, walk, hike, have a drink. This place is a bit off the beaten path and we literally stumbled on it while trying to navigate our way through el Sauzal, but let me tell you, what views. What a park. Maybe 500-700 feet above the Atlantic? a great place if you are in the area and worth a detour. I think there is a restaurant/ pub but it wasn't open while we were there.

A great place

You will hardly find a more spectacular place in El Sauzal. Here you can first stroll around the beautiful little garden, then enjoy the view of the cliffs, for example with a cafe con leche. If you want to eat something, you have to make a reservation. Many Spaniards have brunch here, especially on weekends.

Time for a beer with a view

The Mirador has spectacular views. You are on top of a 350m vertical cliff looking down on inaccessible beaches.

The bar/cafeteria features super ice creams but can also run to pizzas and a variety of drinks.

I enjoyed a beer there - the service was friendly and welcoming.
