Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Beautiful setting and friendly staff. Tried a few different wines, all of which explained by the staff and they listened to our preferred tastes. Had a wander round and it is very picturesque. Detailed audio-tour available which was informative. Would definitely recommend.

This is a must for anyone interested in wine. The museum section is beautifully laid out with informative displays in several languages. We did not have time for the tasting and restaurant but they looked very tempting. The Canary Island wines have a distinguished history, even getting several mentions in Shakespeare's plays. Don't miss it!

Lovely and knowledgae staff with a great variety of wines and vermouths. We didn’t pre-register and we were accepted with a big smile, not like at other places. Prices are not high, but you get great value. Go for some of the vermouths - they are lovely!

We booked online the day before and when we arrived we were welcomed warmly by very friendly staff. We arrived early but enjoyed the museum before starting our tasting. A table had been set up for us and it really felt like personal service for the tasting. Very, very enjoyable.

Great place to try and buy Tenerife wines.

Fantastic selection and very knowledgeable/helpful staff.

We had enough time only for a very short glimpse of the wine and honey exhibitions (2 separate affairs) and had hoped to return for a longer appreciation of the displays which were comprehensive and, for a change, explained in english as well as Spanish.

If you're interested in niche wines, there is no better place to spend an hour.

Decent selection of local wine, but the staff are too overstretched to be able to properly explain each wine that you're trying, or to be attentive. Took over 15 minutes to get the bill and buy some wine. Also no warning on website when the place is closed for private events, as we discovered when we tried to visit on the Saturday. We didn't eat there, but the restaurant has a wonderful view.

Wonderful restaurant and amazing wine store featuring Tenerife wines. Also, an interesting little wine museum.
Usually go to stock up on the newest small releases of Tenerife wines. Govt owned operation so prices are very reasonable and the store is filled with widest selection of local wines that I have seen on the island.
What was a real find was the amazing restaurant across from the tasting room. Incredible views of the sea and well presented and focused menu. Thought it might be standard island fare but instead qualifies as fine dining. Went with Black Cherne and my wife had the pork as mains. Wines looked like the were priced at retail so 3-6 euros a glass with a wide selection to choose from. If you want a destination spot on a trip up from the South, this is the place to go.

An excellent dinner: Superb food, yummy wines, nice atmosphere, attentive service. Excellent value for money, our warmest recommendation. The day before we had a tasting with local cheeses in their bodega and we can also warmly recommend that. We’ll definitely come back!

Wonderful experience overall.

Casa del vino offers a full experience throughout the museum where you can get a glimpse of the history of the place and local wine; continuing with the tasting room where you can get to know better the local varieties; then you can have a great culinary experience pairing with the local wines and finally you can buy some local products from the shop.

We had lunch. Everything was great. The service, the food and of course the wine.

We had as appetisers almogrote 3 types and as main course pollock fish with peas puree and cherne fish with saffron sauce.
Everything was absolutely delicious. Pairing was done with a white wine Tagara, dry, fruity, medium acidic.

Very good prices. We paid 53 EUR for everything.

You are a wine and food lover is a must try in Tenerife. Very close to Puerto de la Cruz.
