Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sagadi manor is one of the grand houses in the Lahemaa NP. The interior is historically furnished to the time when the Von Fock family, Baltic German landlords owned it. I found it very well done. There are many rooms to see, salons, bedrooms, bathroom and hunting room.
A ticket for the manor gives access to the forest museum as well. This museum is in one of the outer buildings on the estate.

We were pleasantly surprised by this museum. It has a lot of history and you can easily spend couple of hours there.
We went only to the mõis museum that costs €4 per adult.
We were lucky to visit during the summer festival which was brilliant for kids as well as adults. They organised numerous tents and activities around the park where you had to do something to get a stamp and a little prize. We tried to make our own little hamper basket which was cool and engaged the whole family. Brilliant idea- well done to organisers!

We paid €6.00 per adult for both this museum and the forest one next door.
It is well kept and pretty informative.
The gardens and architecture are the most impressive though.

This is an old mansion now owned by the state. Land reform or something similar claimed it from its owners years ago. The building is in good shape and the lake behind it is very nice.

There are two museums, you can walk through the rooms in the manor house, which still have to some extent original furniture. On the attic of the manor house as well as a seperate side building there is the Estonian forest museum. There is also a small hote and restaurant and cafe on the premises.

Approaching Sagadi manor I observed numerous ladies and girls wearing dresses from 18-19th centuries, I suspect this is the main attraction for tourists - to change clothes and to take pictures of herself in old fashioned dresses :)

Forest museum was interesting. Manor house was nicely presented. Nothing spectacular, but worth a visit. The restaurant adjacent to the house was very nice and the waiting staff very attentive.

My teen and I enjoyed the experience of walking through time with beautifully preserved artifacts. The hunting rooms was memorable and interesting. Fascinating things around every corner, if you keep a curious eye out, you'll find them.
