The distillery has a lovely atmosphere and we were made to feel very welcome. We chatted to several members of the team and we recognised our Tour Guide, Ashley, as she had been on our tour of Bowmore the day before. She was great, I...More

We booked a Warehouse Experience without really knowing what to expect. It was excellent. For £25 you have a small group trip to the warehouse to drink whiskies not available for sale. They are really quite remarkable! And very good value. The guide was knowledgeable...More

100% Worthwhile, good tour guides, good stories, good drams. They are very generous with drams at Bruichladdich. I wish I had more time there!

We enjoyed an informative and entertaining tour around the distillery on a blustery Monday morning. We can't remember the name of the lady who took us round unfortunately but she was an excellent guide and very engaging. The tasting afterwards was the most generous and...More

The perfect merge of the place, story behind, guide and whisky produced here. Tour guided with passion, with reasonable marketing bullsh*, showing the real way of making whisky and gin. Great hospitality and customer care. Nothing to complain. You have new brand ambassadors in me!

This was my favourite distillery and tour. It probably helped that I’m not really a whisky drinker and much prefer gin as they also make the Botanist gin there. Our guide was very knowledgable and first shared the history of the distillery before showing us...More

Bruichladdich remains the most cosy and welcoming of all Islay distilleries, even with more and more whisky tourists overfloating this tiny island.

After a week of whisky and walks, we wanted something a little different. So we went back to another distillery! However, this time we took in The Botanist gin tour and rated it amongst one of the best things we’ve done on Islay. Ashley our...More

Thank you so much for your kind review. Ashley indeed is our Gin queen and the fun part for us is she lets us taste them first to see if they are ok. I hope to see you over to see us in 2019 Mary

Last time around it was Silent Season and that tour was great and welcoming, This go around we did the afternoon tour they were producing the gin, the smells were amazing (every distillery on Islay smells very different when in production) The welcome was warm...More

Thank you for your great review Brett B. I agree, the smell in the Stillhouse when we make the gin is amazing, it smells of Islay! We hope to see you over again in 2019 Mary

Innovative distillery, the Warehouse Experience tour and the Botanist tour are both recommended. You'll get to try some impressive expressions straight from the barrel. Very informative.
